What Hifyr does
In audio, prices can differ a lot from shop to shop and week to week, and almost every model has a successor or a colour version that is just slightly different. Hifyr puts the prices side by side. Each model has one page with all its versions: colour and finish, each with its own EAN code or the manufacturer’s model number.
A price belongs to exactly one version: we never compare one speaker with a pair, or a soundbar with the same soundbar plus subwoofer. We only show shop prices once we have checked them for the exact version; if the version is ambiguous, we show no price rather than guess.
Independent
Hifyr doesn’t sell anything and isn’t affiliated with the brands on this site. We use brand names to describe what is in the catalogue, not to suggest a partnership.
If Hifyr later earns money from links to shops or from advertising, this will be stated clearly next to the link or placement concerned. The order of products and prices is not for sale.
Not a test lab
We don’t test devices ourselves. We show what the manufacturer states, such as noise cancelling, battery life in hours, codecs (LDAC, aptX, AAC), connections and whether something is waterproof. If something only works with a particular app or phone, we say so. What you finally hear also depends on your ears and your music; we are honest about that.
